Just An Everyday Thang

It has been unusually cold in the mornings when we get out of bed.  Now our apartment is usually at 76 naturally (no ac or heat-we don't have either) but we now wake up to 67-69.  Now that's chilly... for us!  I wrap Jada up and she takes off and does her thing.  I just think it's so cute to see her bundled on the go.
bundled reading a cd case
see? isn't that cute?
And this is her in her new outfit, It's missing the sweater that goes with it.  I just love her socks! They are too die for!
One of her favorite books.  She has to give the puppy billions of kisses.
Jada in her beloved wagon.  I couldn't just choose one picture.  What's wrong with me?
And last but not least....Presenting....DANA!
He is going to kill me! Hahaha....

Walk This Way

This girl has been walking with my assistance for 5 months now! When is she going to get the courage to let go?! Well, a step in the right direction...she has finally utilized her walker toy that I bought her ages ago.  She is so funny to watch walk that thing and get stuck on the wall.
eating her cheerios she has packed away in her hands.
Man she is really starting to look like I did when I was young

Other updates:
*Jada is a yipper yapper, I just wonder what she is trying to say? She screams also, kind of like a rock singer. Where does she get this stuff? It scares the other babies a little.
*She also loves it when cartoons come on and listens to their opening and closing songs and takes off in between.  Mickey Mouse & Sesame Street are some of her favorites, and sad to say but barney also.
*She is also starting to say "Hi" sounds so funny.
*We bought her a wagon and she really enjoys walks now! Woo Hoo! So we take a walk everyday and sometimes invite her friends for a ride.  Everyday she takes me by the hand to go downstairs and climbs on into her wagon, sits down, and says "Let's Go!" (not literally, obviously she whines "let's go")
*Other than that, Dane is really really busy with school and stressed out all the time. I am bored to death, that's probably why you see this blog updated all the time :)  But overall, things are great, we have more and more couples moving into our complex and have plenty of company and plenty of BBQ's.  What else can you ask for?  We are really enjoying our time so far, even if I am bored during the day!

Milwaukee Zoo

We took a trip to the Zoo.  More for us than Jada, her attention span is short.  It was fun and we actually got to see animals this time...go figure.
took the picture for the bird behind dane.  it was doing a funny stance, but you can't see it. too bad.
why do I always look Asian?
waving at the animal.  she must have thought it was a dog.
bear in a hammock. i thought that was funny
that giraffe came straight at us & got real up close. cool.

Washington Part 2

Dane & I celebrated our 3rd year Anniversary by going out to eat in Moses Lake.  We left the child with Grandma.  It was nice to be on a date again.  It was so weird hanging out in the town Jeremy grew up in.  I kept thinking that every time we came into town.  They even ate at the same restaurant when they came to visit just a week before us.  Funny where life takes ya, these boys from nearby small towns in Washington.  IF I move here...Birgitta, you must follow! :)
Oh, I did want to share a quick story.  So After we ate dinner & got a blizzard we went over to the dollar store.  I said, "Hey Dane, since we are at a dollar store let's stock up on pregnancy tests while we can since we don't have one of these stores nearby back at home."  (i know what ya'll are thinking and stop thinking it.  i am not testing for a pregnancy NOW, just so we are all clear on that)  anyways...I couldn't find any anywhere so I walked up to a cashier up front that was on her break and whispered where the pregnancy tests may be.  "Hmm, she says, I think we are all out."  then she starts to walk toward her co-worker who was working the cash register with the WHOLE store full of customers ALL in one line and proceeded to yell out "HEY WE GOT ANYMORE PREGNANCY TESTS!!?"  What the? are you serious!  I booked it.  Naturally everyone turned around & I knew they were looking at me trying to look aloof with Dane at my side.  Stupid lady.  We left and laughed about it on the drive back.  Good thing we don't live here!
Onward, we also went to the county fair in Moses Lake.
Dane and carnie games.  He's funny.
Every child has to have a carousel baby picture
We went to visit Dane's sister Lindsey and her family in Moses as well.  They were so great and took us boating on the lake.  I forgot my camere back at their house...bummer.  Dane was able to slalom ski.  I woosed out.  Next time for sure.  I just enjoyed watching everyone else water skiing.  Other than that our trip later consisted of Dane & I going out on wave runners, visiting the Cantu's in their nearby hometown (funny to see them there...our worlds are colliding!), and shopping in Seattle.  Man it was a great vacation and we really had a great time.
Jada & Chloe Cantu (one of the musketeers back in Wisconsin)
In Seattle.  Can you guess where she gets this from?  I thought my brothers and my Dad might really enjoy these

she had to walk ALL over. I tried to keep her feet covered as best I could.
