Wisconsin Dells

We started out Dane's Spring Break after he took his Boards Test.  We hope he passes!!  We then took off to Wis Dells-The Waterpark Capitol of the World.  We went last year but to a different resort and had such a great time...we decided to go again.  The Poulsons, Checketts, and Renchers joined us on our trip.  We also met up with the McAffees later (all dental student families from our complex).  We stayed in some condos that Dane's parents got for us for an incredible rate.  It was a blast.  I kept telling Dane that I would swap these condos for what we live in now in a heart beat!  I didn't want to leave.  We had dinner when we arrived and hung out until bed time.  The next day we set out to Kalahari Resort.  We all had such a great time!!  I think the best rides were the water coaster and the toilet bowl flush.  I wish I took more pictures, but really I didn't want to run back and forth to our station to grab and then put away the camera.
Jada just loved the toddler water slides, and the toddler lazy river
she wanted to push the tubes instead of relax in one
she loved climbing those stairs too and it was several levels of us climbing stairs..ha! workout for me!
feeding the ducks at the condo we stayed at.  She loves animals
We then went to Chula Vista, another resort, the next day.  I didn't like it as much, and Jada slept most of the time in my arms.  It was still fun to be out.

Man I wish I had more pictures!!  Then after we were water parked out (well Dane was) we decided to go shop at the outlets, eat some chicago pizza, and drove home.  I love vacation time!!!

10 Things

I have had nothing to blog about lately since I had lost my camera in between couch cushions for awhile, I have decided to do what my friend did and do a 10 things you may not know about me.  It was so fun to read hers and I learned some fun facts about her.  Here ya go.

1. I apparently tried to kill my husband a couple of nights ago while I was sleeping.  Dane woke up finding it hard to breath... I had placed my hand over his mouth and was pinching his nose slightly.  He threw my hand off of him thinking I was trying to keep him from snoring, but I just rolled myself over oblivious to it all.  Sorry Dane!! I promise I had no idea I was trying to kill you!  He says I watch too many murder mystery shows.

2. I get really super grumpy when I am bored and it is hard to make me happy again if I ever get into a bored funk.

3. I was born with hip dysplasia and had to wear a cast/splint.  My mom said the cast forced me to sleep with my legs in the air and when they had taken it off I continued to sleep with my legs in the air...that's kind of funny.

4. I think it's crazy now but when perms were in I desperately wanted to perm my hair and cut it like Persia White in "Breaker High" Tv show.  What was I thinking?  Me with that hair?  haha.
5. I have seen 1 rated R movie in my life.  I didn't know it was until mid-through, but it was intense and a mystery so I decided to finish it.  I felt bad afterwards.  I prefer edited ones anyways...there was too much swearing and a little too much blood for my taste.  (you guessed it, of course it was a scary movie!)

6. I hate things placed in my face or over my head.  It drives me bonkers!

7. One of my MOST favorite jobs was working on BYU grounds...except for the early morning snow shoveling in the winter.  And when I say early, I mean EARLY!!  Anywhere from 2:00-4:00 AM...I would get the dreaded call to come into work.  I went days without sleep, especially since I usually stayed up late hanging out!

8. I love to shop for swimming suits and dresses

9. I enjoy to draw human figures.  I took a class in college (my first art class ever and really enjoyed it).  I can't say that I am that great at it, but I really liked it.  It's always nerve wracking for me to start a new drawing because I am afraid it won't turn out, but some how they usually turn out alright.  Shading is the funnest part.  And No, I can't draw faces...that's why they don't have any!

10.  Man, this list was hard to think up...I am getting lazy and here is the last one.  I used to have long long hair.  I couldn't find a better picture, but it actually passed my butt.  It would get tucked into my pants frequently and stuck in chairs.  I wanted it long like Julia Ormond in the "First Knight".  Polynesians were also an inspiration.  I had long hair for a very long time.  My Dad finally told me, look you are starting college and need a change.  CUT YOUR HAIR!!!  Of course I love my Dad and did what he said and cut it to where I thought was short...about my lower back, but it was a big change for me and I love my Dad for it :)
