All Caught On Tape

Ok so this post isn't as exciting as the title may make it out to be.  Trying to keep things spicy is hard to do sometimes!
Jada crawling for real (she started couple weeks ago on her knees now)

Jada playing with Dad

I knew she liked balloons. She would laugh & gaze at those balloons floating in the air every time we went to the store or at a person's house. I had to get a helium balloon for her.  I went and bought one one night the child was in bed.  I had it sitting in the living room so she could see it first thing in the morning.  I took her out of bed and walked into the living room and just paused to see what she would do.  It was priceless. Like watching her on Christmas morning.  She froze for a moment in disbelief.  Her eyes started widening up along with her mouth.  She turned to me and smiled, then came the laughter, and flaying of body limbs.  She then started jumping out of my arms trying to reach it.  She couldn't wait to get a hold of that balloon!  She made my day. It was hilarious to watch her.  I guess the balloon was worth those 3 bucks! :)
Then I forgot...Oops it's breakfast time, no problem, she took it with her.

The Many Faces of Jada

I keep hearing how expressive Jada is and all the funny faces she makes.  Here are just SOME of her many looks. All for Birgitta's enjoyment :)

Pool Time!

It has been brutally HOT! VERY VERY VERY HUMID! What makes it even worse is living in an apartment with no AC and a wall unit that keeps shutting the breaker off.  Man Alive.  Well, Jada & I spend much of our time at the swimming pool to try to cool down.  It is really fun to be there & she really enjoys it.

My Little Girl's Growing Up

Even though she had just had a FULL meal, she can't resist eating what other people have...sorry Jada but I believe I gave you the social eater gene!  She was screaming Dane's attention until she got that apple in her mouth and then she went to town with it!

Independence Day

We went to the parade they had downtown Cedarburg.  The parade started about a block from where we live...awesome! So we just went 5 min til it started and found ourselves a little shady spot behind some people.  It worked for me! :)  It was during Jada's nap time so she was a little tired.
The loud sirens on the fire trucks made her cry.
The nice guy in front of us gave her some earphones.
My patriotic dessert: fruit pizza
BBQ Ribs for dinner! Oh man!
We later watched the fireworks at night from our apartment.
Beat all the traffic! haha
