Trip Home Part 1

We were fortunate to come home during summer break, it was nice to be home during the summer rather than winter this time.  I had such a great time just being home.  Loved seeing family.  Jada had a great time with her cousins, Mayew (Matthew-my brother), Grandma and Grandpa.

Dane ran his first race!  He did the 5K freedom run with my sister Birgitta.
He was so glad she ran with him.  He had such a blast doing it and wants to run more races now 

at the Provo parade, started out cool and then came the sun...Yowza!

We decided to go watch the Beach Boys at the Stadium of Fire

Dane, Matthew and I escaped for a little bit to hang out at the Riverwoods.  Dane wanted to explore the ropes course.  He was the only person over the age of 10.  Haha, but he had a great time!

No Fish

Well we decided to buy us a fishin' pole and get a license to fish here in Wisconsin.  There are many beautiful lakes and rivers to fish in so it just sounded like fun!  I haven't fished since my Dad took us when I was a wee child.  I loved it then, and I am sure I will like it now.  We went to Harrington State Park and fished in one of the lakes there.  After Jada got impatient of waiting and waiting, I finally let Dane be with his buddy and took Jada to the beach in the same park.  

I had so much fun learning how to fish again although Dane kept getting annoyed on my casting skills.  I had fun though...didn't care I wasn't that great at it.  We left home with no fish caught, better luck next time!

Yeah, we didn't actually go to a game...I WISH!!  But we did take a day trip to Green Bay to tour the Lambeau Field!  It was so great, although with wiggly and whiny Jada I only caught about 1/4 of what the guide was saying.  So here we go!

I don't know if you notice the small crowd in the bleachers, but they were having a wedding!  What?!  These women are crazy to agree to that!  They love their packers :)
They also will host baptisms and funerals, so they said!

Then we got to run down the tunnel with cheers and music.  That was fun :)

 We then went to Bay Beach Amusement Park.  We didn't last very long, the rain came pouring down and we had to jet.
