The Continuation

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JADA
My little girl turned 1
October 31
We had two Birthday parties for her.  One with my Dad & Birgitta and the other with her friends Bella & Chloe (that are the same age).  We made her banana cupcakes shaped into flowers...two of her favorite things :) She was grumpy and would not eat her cake and tossed it.  It in turn made me grumpy! Of course! You picture what her first birthday would be like and didn't expect it to turn sour.  Oh well, life goes on.  It was great and glad family could be here to enjoy it with :)  Her second birthday Dane made her a tres leches cake with strawberries and kiwi on top.  It was delicious and she ate that one :)

and there it went

I LOVE YOU BABY

We kept our traveling groove goin' and went to the outlet malls and then swung by the Jelly Belly store/warehouse.  We got some free samples..the dr pepper ones are the best!  We then hung around a bit to hop onto their "train tour".  Let's just say it was a good thing it was free! So they took us around their warehouse full of boxes, we stopped at a television where they would tell us a little bit about jelly beans.  We then would proceed and stop at another television to repeat this process several more times...Not what we were expecting...boring....then a miracle...out of no where Jada has a meltdown.  Dad, Birgitta and I couldn't have been anymore pleased! We stopped the train & asked to leave.  Woo Hoo...we were escorted nicely out of the building.  Oh well, so much for the rest of the tour.
Dad trying the booger flavor
Birgitta snuck me a rotten egg and OH MAN it was more rotten than what my face is leading it on to be.
A little revenge, I gave Birgitta vomit :)
The Tour of DOOM!
Make sure to keep your hats on at all times!
We finally carved the pumpkins we got at the patch.  We all had a great time even DAD! Jada's carved pumpkin is not pictured and will be posted later.
Denise, Birgitta, Dad

Dad & Birgitta quickly took a walk through the domes.  It was supposed to be haunted, but you know, throw a few scary objects in the plants and poof! You got yourself a haunted dome :)
Last but not least, a little bit of downtown Cedarburg

Birgitta and Dad Visits!!

It was so great to have my sister and Dad here.  I had so much fun with them! Their trip was too short and we wish they could have stayed longer but it was nice for the time they stayed.  Jada loved the attention!  She is truly spoiled.  I guess I am spoiled too :)
Well, we started out with many of our ideas shut down because everything was closed so darn early.  We ended up eating at Buffalo Wild Wings after picking them up at the airport and then watching the mysteries of the pyramids at the IMAX theater.  Wow, never done that before.  It definitely left all our eyes & brains well stimulated.  Jada was focused the whole movie (45 min).  It was boring though, haha...we should of done the tornado show!
We planted some bulbs :) I can't wait for them to bloom! We planted a tulip mix and purple crocus.
This was the whole reason my Dad came! I told him I wish he was here so that he could help me plant some bulbs, and HE CAME!

Then off to the pumpkin patch we went.  We also got to pet some animals in a pen.
Birgitta calling the turkeys over; "Here turkey turkey"
Birgitta chasing the turkeys; "SIKE! haha, suckas!"
picking out her pumpkin to carve
That's the one :) with a pat of approval
My Naked Baby
Little Einsteins

I took them to the Lake's cliff.  We also went to Port Washington and this time made it all the way to the lighthouse.  It wasn't stormy or scary.  It took awhile for Dad to believe that there were huge waves crashing when Matthew & I were walking towards the lighthouse.  That Lake can act like an ocean! (I'll have you know)
