Then There Were 2

By popular demand, I was asked to supply more pictures ;) They are all random of our first 3 weeks together.  Wow, time flies!
Grandma Christensen was so sweet to be thinking of us ladies!  She sent Jada some balloons and flowers for me!

caught a sleeping smile
Grandma Christensen was thinking of a good way to keep Jada busy
and sent her a kitchenette of her own!  She loves it!
I asked Jada to pose in front of her kitchen for Grandma and these are what she came up with.
She should be on the box! :)

Taking a breather  out in the cool, crisp, fall air.
"take a picture of my leaf" she says

Jada found my Tahitian dance video and wants to watch it all the time.  She decided to learn how to dance as well.  She stood me up to dance with her and tried to lift up my shirt and kept telling me "belly", I had no idea what she was talking about and then it dawned on me.  The girls on the video wear a 2-piece outfit and were showing their bellies, so naturally...
trying her "arms out" position
Jada decided to plop down along side Sadie as we were trying to wrap her.
Jada kept telling us how cool she looked with her hat on backwards.  She is so darn cute.
Watching conference and Jada noticed they were saying prayers.  Adorable.
I mean really, she cracks me up

Sadie Lea Christensen

My little Sadie is here!  She is to die for! It started out with the discussion of an early induction so that Birgitta and my Mom could schedule a time to come.  My original due date was the 30th so Sadie came 10 days early.   The Dr had me come into St Joseph's hospital in Milwaukee on the 19th to start the process with a cervix ripener.  They started the pitocin around 5:45 am on the 20th.  The Dr came in around 9:00 am to pop my water.  That was extremely painful by the way!  They started my epidural soon afterwards.  I took a short nap and felt the baby drop as I inclined my bed.  It was extremely painful.  I started to bawl.  The nurse checked me and found that I was at an 8 and called the Dr.  I had the urge to push but they wouldn't let me as they were waiting on the Dr to arrive.  It took me 15 min to progress to a 10.  I was in a lot of pain until the boost of medication finally kicked in.  By then the Dr had just arrived and was shocked to see the head.  They got things rolling quickly and it took me one push.  There she was!  Born at 11:44 am.  20 in, 7 lb 15 oz.
A lot of these pictures are repeats from my facebook account.  I tried to add some new ones.

Birgitta getting her feet rubbed. Wasn't I the one that just had a baby? ;)
